In the course of the COVID-19 pan­de­mic, requi­re­ments and regu­la­ti­ons within the logi­stics indus­try, espe­ci­al­ly for ship­ping, have been changed. This is curr­ent­ly making it extre­me­ly chal­len­ging to main­tain supply chains worldwide.

As a result, the available cargo space for all recei­ving count­ries is very limited. In addi­ti­on, freight rates have risen sharply and are only valid for a short time. The situa­ti­on for air freight ship­ments is simi­lar­ly tense. Per­son­nel for loading and unloa­ding may only be deploy­ed under certain con­di­ti­ons and in certain quan­ti­ties. This signi­fi­cant­ly delays the pro­ces­sing of freight.
