Delivery delays
due to the effects of the corona pandemic
The forwarding companies that we regularly appoint to transport your products are currently experiencing a sharp increase in the number of absences as a result of coronavirus infections or suspected cases, which are leading to staff shortages, particularly among truck drivers, due to the current quarantine rules. As a result, goods that are ready for pick-up at our warehouse cannot be loaded and transported to their destination at the moment, or only with a significant delay.
Added to this is the factor that freight forwarding companies have temporarily decommissioned parts of their fleets that run on LNG gas due to the high increase in gas prices. The loss of this cargo capacity cannot be compensated for by other vehicles in the short term, which contributes to a further shortage of freight forwarding capacity.
This is what we can do together to manage this situation in the best possible way
Please plan for a delay of several days for deliveries currently expected. We will actively approach you to bundle any partial deliveries that are to be delivered within a few weeks into one delivery. Please plan your requirements in advance and in close coordination with our colleagues in Sales and Customer Service. If you have your own pick-up possibilities that can be specifically named and are available on a daily basis, please contact us. Otherwise, we will continue to take care of your delivery.
As in the past two years of this pandemic situation and some crises within logistics during this time, we are firmly convinced that we will once again be able to manage this situation positively together with you as a long-standing partner. With this in mind, we would like to thank you for your trust and understanding. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
