Our new G‑series MagS­phe­res are now part of our port­fo­lio of light­weight fillers. The G‑series micro­sphe­res are based on boro­si­li­ca­te glass and offer out­stan­ding pro­per­ties that open up a wide range of pos­si­ble appli­ca­ti­ons. They can play an important role in the deve­lo­p­ment of new pro­ducts as well as in the opti­miza­ti­on of exis­ting products.

Pos­si­ble appli­ca­ti­ons in the manu­fac­tu­re of tech­ni­cal and indus­tri­al pro­ducts include

• Reduced density while main­tai­ning sta­bi­li­ty: This enables a reduc­tion in the weight of the end product.
• Ball bearing effect: Impro­ves pro­cessa­bi­li­ty and creates certain surface struc­tures, e.g. in paints and plasters.
• Impro­ved insu­la­ting pro­per­ties: Ideal for appli­ca­ti­ons where thermal insu­la­ti­on is important.
