CHARITY ENGAGEMENT
Of MAGNESIA employees
In 2020, MAGNESIA and its more than 50 colleagues once again engaged for charity. While the year has been extraordinary and has brought very special challenges for all of us, especially the already disadvantaged people have suffered from the causes of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a supplier to the system-relevant pharmaceutical but also food industry, we are grateful to our employees for their commitment in the pandemic year of 2020. As a thank you, we were able to grant all colleagues the so-called Coronabonus and motivated them to donate a part of this bonus: For every euro that an employee donated to a charity institution of their choice, the MAGNESIA management donated another euro.
In total, more than € 3,000 have been raised for charity organizations. The beneficiaries range from Doctors without Borders, the DKMS, a children’s hospice, cancer aid organizations, the UN Refugee Aid, the Water Foundation and the Kindertafel in Lüneburg. The director of the latter, Antje Stoffregen, is thankful for the commitment of the MAGNESIA employees: “That was a great surprise and joy when I heard that you […] thought of us and supported us with your donations.”
Once again, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all of our employees for this great gesture. As a thank you, MAGNESIA has therefore once again purchased raffle tickets of the “Aktion Mensch” as an employee gift for Christmas in 2020 . With these, we help support social projects, demonstrate social responsibility and give our colleagues an individual chance to win.
